Terri A. Lastovka, CPA, JD, ASA, ARM received her BBA in Accounting from Kent State University in 1986.  While at KSU, Terri was invited to become a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and Mortar Board which are both national honor societies recognizing exemplary scholarship, leadership, and service. She was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the Accountancy Board of Ohio in 1989. Terri earned her Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1995 and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1996. Terri is a member of the American Society of Appraisers where she attained Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) credential in 2004 and Appraisal Review & Management (ARM) in 2017.  She is also a member of the Ohio Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, West Shore Bar Association, Lorain County Bar Association, Center for Principled Family Advocacy, Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.


Terri is the founder of Valuation & Litigation Consulting, LLC. Her practice focuses on business valuations and litigation consulting in the areas of domestic relations, gift and estate tax, probate, shareholder disputes, economic damages, and forensic accounting. She draws from a wide range of experiences, including public accounting, law, banking, and CFO. She has received extensive training from the American Society of Appraisers in the area of business valuation and works closely with members of the bar to effectuate practical settlements. Terri also serves as panel member of the American Arbitration Association furthering her work in alternative dispute resolution. 


Upon receiving her ARM credentials in 2017, Terri was invited to participate on the Appraisal Review & Management Discipline Committee of the American Society of Appraisers.  She served as an At-Large Committee Member from 2018 to 2020, then Secretary/Treasurer from 2020 to 2022, and is currently serving as Vice Chair of the ARM Discipline Committee.
